I've always had two loves, music and poetry. After spending two years at Berklee College of Music, I earned my BFA in poetry from Emerson College and my Masters from USC. My master's thesis, written & edited about the same time I was making Welcome to the Danger Show, was completed in 2007. Three years later when I started touring on a much larger scale, I dusted off the thesis & published it in book form.
Dangerous Music is free-verse poetry. So be warned: this is not a book of my lyrics. But seeing as it's basically a companion-piece, theme-wise, to my first album, I'm lead to believe that if you're a fan of my music, and especially a fan of my lyric-writing, then you'll enjoy this book.
