I've spent the whole summer on the road, and soon in September, I'll be hitting the road again through the end of 2010. That's all a good thing of course, but the downside is no more shows for awhile in Los Angeles, and no shows in the forseeable future with my killer backing band, the Dead Messengers.
Monday, August 23rd will be a send-off of sorts. I'll be hitting the stage with the band at our favorite haunt of the last few years, The Mint on Pico & Crescent Heights in Los Angeles. I got my start at the Mint and it's the perfect place for the L.A.-area farewell.
I've also used this occasion to introduce you to a brand new band in the opening slot. This will be their first-ever show and I know you're going to love them. They're called Jessi Jae Joplin & the Ruckus, and you should come early to see them play. I follow just after with my band.

After playing my 14-date Southern Tour to New Orleans and back with Ben De La Cour (and 27 dates in all, including my 13-date Northern tour just preceding, with Thomas Ian Nicholas) I'm finally back in Los Angeles (albeit briefly) to play a hometown show at the Trip in Santa Monica on Lincoln. Ben De La Cour supports, which is fitting, because we first met when we played there together on January 3rd.
I'll most likely be hitting the road for much of the rest of August and leaving again on tour from mid-September through the end of 2010! So don't miss it!!!!!

My keyboardist, Giulio Carmassi is back in town from Brooklyn for just a few nights, and we're celebrating his birthday on Sunday 2/21 with an all-out bash at The Good Hurt. Vermouth, featuring Giulio as well my guitarist Steve McDonald will play at 9pm, and I'll follow play with the reunited Dead Messengers at 10pm.
This truly is a one-of-a-kind show. Who knows when we'll get to share the stage with Vermouth again and have our pal Giulio around to play in both bands. Don't miss it!
